We develop the relation between de Sitter holography and in∞ation in detail with particular attention to cosmic density perturbations. We set up the Hamilton-Jacobi formalism to present a systematic treatment of the logarithmic corrections to a scale in- variant spectrum. Our computations can be interpreted without reference to holography, as strong infra-red efiects in gravity. This point of view may be relevant for the flne-tuning problems inherent to in∞ation.
Holographic multiverse and conformal invariance
We consider a holographic description of the inflationary multiverse, according to which the wave function of the universe is interpreted as the generating functional for a lower dimensional
BICEP2 and the Central Charge of Holographic Inflation
Holographic inflation posits that the inflationary deSitter era of our universe is approximately described by a dual three-dimensional Euclidean CFT living on the spatial slice at the end of
Holographic inflation and the conservation of ζ
A bstractIn a holographic description of inflation, cosmological time evolution in the bulk is expected to correspond to the renomalization group (RG) flow in a dual boundary theory. Here, we analyze
Multi-field inflation from holography
We initiate the study of multi-field inflation using holography. Bulk light scalar fields correspond to nearly marginal operators in the boundary theory and the dual quantum field theory is a
Inflationary perturbations from deformed CFT
We present a new method to calculate the spectrum of (slow-roll) inflationary perturbations, inspired by the conjectured dS/CFT correspondence. We show how the standard result for the spectrum of
Inflationary consistency conditions from a wavefunctional perspective
A bstractIt is shown that the squeezed limit of inflationary expectation values follows from reparametrization invariance of the wavefunction of the universe. This translates into a constraint on the
Holography, diffeomorphisms, and scaling violations in the CMB
We analyze diffeomorphism invariance in inflationary spacetimes regulated by a boundary at late time. We present the action for quadratic fluctuations in the presence of a boundary, and verify that
Trans-Planckian censorship conjecture in holographic cosmology
In this paper, we discuss the implications of the recently proposed trans-Planckian Censorship Conjecture (TCC) for holographic cosmology. For models of holographic inflation that are dual to inverse
The holographic universe
We present a holographic description of four-dimensional single-scalar inflationary universes in terms of a three-dimensional quantum field theory (QFT). The holographic description correctly

De Sitter holography and the cosmic microwave background
We interpret cosmological evolution holographically as a renormalisation group ∞ow in a dual euclidean fleld theory, as suggested by the conjectured dS/CFT correspon- dence. In∞ation is described by
Inflation, holography, and the choice of vacuum in de Sitter space
A family of de Sitter vacua introduced in hep-th/0203198 as plausible initial conditions for inflation, are discussed from the point of view of de Sitter holography. The vacua are argued to be
Anti-de Sitter (AdS) space can be foliated by a family of nested surfaces homeomorphic to the boundary of the space. We propose a holographic correspondence between theories living on each surface in
Notes on de Sitter space and holography
We explore aspects of the physics of de Sitter (dS) space that are relevant to holography with a positive cosmological constant. First, we display a non-local map that commutes with the de Sitter
On the holographic renormalization group
We propose a direct correspondence between the classical evolution equations of $5-d$ supergravity and the renormalization group (RG) equations of the dual $4-d$ large $N$ gauge theory. Using
Inflation and the dS/CFT Correspondence
It is speculated that the observed universe has a dual representation as renormalization group flow between two conformal fixed points of a three-dimensional euclidean field theory. The infrared
How to go with an RG flow
We apply the formalism of holographic renormalization to domain wall solutions of 5-dimensional supergravity which are dual to deformed conformal field theories in 4 dimensions. We carefully compute
Quantum Gravity In De Sitter Space
We discuss some general properties of quantum gravity in De Sitter space. It has been argued that the Hilbert space is of finite dimension. This suggests a macroscopic argument that General
