The purpose of the exploratory, descriptive study was fourfold: 1) to study the nursing education system in Indonesia, 2) to study the health state and health care delivery system, 3) to present various professional issues to nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals, and 4) to develop additional exchange programs between nursing faculty and students of Indonesia and the United States.
