The Modular Accident Analysis Program (MAAP) was developed by Fauske and Associates, Inc., for the Industry Degraded Core Rulemaking Program (IDCOR) as the industry tool for analysis of severe reactor accidents. The MAAP 3.0B is the most recent version of the program available for analysis of severe accidents in boiling water reactors (BWRs) and pressurized water reactors (PWRs).
