BACKGROUND Different minimally invasive techniques of parathyroidectomy have been described. We performed a retrospective study to evaluate the indications and results of video-assisted parathyroidectomy by lateral approach (VAPLA) in the management of our patients with primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT).
