  • Abstract : The LAV-25 is an 8 X 8 wheel, diesel-powered, lightly-armored vehicle that combines speed, mobility and firepower to fulfill a variety of missions for the U.S. Marine Corps. The primary objective of these tests is to assess the vulnerabilities of the LAV-25 to selected threats, both from direct damage (penetration, fragments, blast) and indirect damage caused by on-board ordnance and combustibles.
