Partial sciatic nerve ligation (PSNL) is a widely used model for the study of neuropathic pain. However, there is little information on neuropeptide expression in primary sensory neurons after PSNL. We examined galanin (GAL) mRNA expression in L4 and L5 dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons of adult rats after PSNL.
