The differential diagnosis of solitary pancreatic cystic lesions is sometimes difficult. Needle-based confocal laser endomicroscopy (nCLE) performed during endoscopic ultrasound–fine-needle aspiration (EUS-FNA) enables real-time imaging of the internal structure of such cysts.
