The present study provides an effective in vitro propagation method for critically endangered parasitic plant Alectra chitrakutensis (M.A. Rau) R. Prasad & R.D. Dixit (Scrophulariaceae). The plant comprises tremendous medicinal properties to treat many diseases such as leprosy, leucoderma, tuberculosis and paralysis.
