Various pulpectomy medicaments have been used in primary endodontics like Zinc oxide euginol, Calcium hydroxide, iodoform and their combinations. But due to disadvantages like toxicity, reduced antimicrobial activity, over retention or easy resorption, the currently used / commercially available materials do not satisfy all the requirements of an ideal pulpectomy medicament.
