Shoot regeneration was achieved from leaves of in vitro cultures of Prunus avium L. cv. 'Lapins' and 'Sweetheart' using woody plant medium (WPM) supplemented with 1-naphthalene-acetic acid (NAA) and thidiazuron (TDZ) or benzyladenine (BA). Percent regeneration was influenced by plant growth regulators and by explant type, orientation and wounding.
