The present study evaluates the anti-inflammatory potential of the methanol and chloroform extracts of Cleome viscosa and C. burmanni by in-vitro methods. The anti-inflammatory property of the extracts was assessed using albumin denaturation assay, proteinase inhibitory activity and hyaluronidase inhibition assay and the results compared against reference drugs such as Aspirin and Indomethacin.
