In patients receiving DAPT after coronary stents, the PRECISE-DAPT score predicted bleeding moderately well.

Abstract

Patients: Derivation cohort. 14 963 patients (mean age 65 y, 70% men) with coronary artery disease who received elective, urgent, or emergent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with coronary stent implantation and DAPT (aspirin plus a P2Y12 inhibitor [88% received clopidogrel]). Validation cohorts. PLATO trial: 8595 patients (mean age 61 y, 76%men) who had an ST-elevation or a non–ST-elevation acute coronary syndrome, PCI during the index hospitalization, and DAPT for ≤ 12months; BernPCI registry: 6172 patients (mean age 67 y, 73%men) who had PCI at Bern University Hospital, Switzerland, between 23 Feb 2009 and 31 Dec 2014.
