Angular resolution is crucial for scanning radar system. Angular resolution of real aperture radar (RAR) is decided by the size of the antenna aperture. In this paper, a novel method of improving angular resolution based on maximum a posteriori (MAP) framework is proposed. Firstly, scanning radar signal model is illustrated, and then an iterative deconvolution based on MAP algorithm that improves angular resolution is derived.
