The presence of antismooth muscle antibodies is one of the diagnostic criteria of autoimmune hepatitis. We evaluated a new anti-F-actin ELISA test and compared it with indirect immunofluorescence assay (IIFA) for antismooth muscle antibodies (ASMA).
