Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) are widely used for controlling industrial manufacturing systems. The programming of PLCs is normally done in special languages defined in the IEC 61131-3 standard [2]. The increasing complexity of the controlling software for manufacturing systems leads to the need for more powerful specification languages.
