Spirulina is one of the most explored cyanobacteria. Since ancient time it is being used as source of protein. Spirulina pletensis was cultivated in different medium like; zarrouk’s medium, CFTRI medium, OFERR medium, zarrouk’s medium + PGR medium, agitation and without agitation medium, improved VITAL BIOTECH medium.
