In order to study the tryptophan biosynthetic enzymes of the plant Arabidopsis thaliana, polyclonal antibodies were raised against five of the tryptophan biosynthetic pathway proteins: anthranilate synthase alpha subunit, phosphoribosylanthranilate transferase, phosphoribosylanthranilate isomerase, and the tryptophan synthase alpha and beta subunits.
