The immunoreactivity of the trophic peptide insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-I; somatomedin C) was mapped in nasal mucosa biopsies from three patients with Wegener's granulomatosis (WG) and one with idiopathic midline destructive disease (IMDD; idiopathic midline granuloma).
