Parkinson's disease (PD) is the most common neurodegenerative movement disorder. Currently, no curative treatments or treatments that interdict disease progression are available. Over the past decade, immunization strategies were developed in our laboratories to combat disease progression. These strategies were developed in laboratory and animal models of human disease.
