A very high level of protection was achieved against homologous (up to 97%) and heterologous (up to 87%) infections in 12-month-old Romney sheep immunised with oxfendazole-abbreviated infections of Ostertagia circumcincta and Trichostrongylus colubriformis. No significant protection occurred following ivermectin-abbreviated infections.
