Immobilization of muskoxen (Ovibos moschatus) with etorphine and xylazine


One hundred and thirty three "wild" muskoxen, 81 of which of known body mass, were successfully immobilized using etorphine (M99), and xylazine (Rompun®), delivered by use of a dart gun.
