OBJECTIVE This article provides a review of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction procedures and their normal postoperative appearance. Then, we review commonly encountered complications: those associated with decreased range of motion (impingement, arthrofibrosis, intraarticular bodies, ganglion cysts) and those associated with laxity (graft tearing, graft stretching).
