Imaging mouse embryos after whole-mount in situ hybridization.

Abstract

INTRODUCTIONEmbryos that are processed for whole-mount in situ hybridization can be photodocumented after the staining procedure depending on the region of the embryo of interest. The embryos can be photodocumented immediately after the color reaction or after clearing in glycerol solutions. This protocol describes methods for embryo clearing and imaging.
