The authors assessed the radiation-induced cancer risk due to organ doses from kilovoltage (kV) cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), a verification technique in image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT). CBCTs were performed for three different treatment sites: the head and neck, chest, and pelvis.
