Dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) uses a bolus of paramagnetic tracer, injected after the start of a T1weighted dynamic imaging technique. The data consist of the signal changes S(t) induced by the tracer as a function of the time t. The purpose of the measurement is to extract tissue-characteristic indices from the measured time-curves S(t). Generally speaking, data can be analysed by visual assessment, descriptive parameters, or quantitative parameters [1].
