Image blur occurs often when using a cell-phone camera due to handshakes or jitter. Although there exist many motion deblurring algorithms in the literature, the computational complexities of these algorithms and the assumptions considered make them unsuitable for deployment on a cell-phone camera processor. This paper presents an image blur reduction algorithm for cell-phone cameras having a low computational complexity and without making any assumption about the handshake motion.
