A key is given for the identification of the 11 American genera of the Efferia-group of Asilinae (Asilidae), also a catalogue of the neotropical species. The following genera are proposed as new:Expand
New genera of two-winged flies of the subfamily Leptogastrinae of the family Asilidae
TLDR
A remarkable new genus of fly in which the basal half of the wing is reduced to a slender hairlike stalk is published, which is readily separated from other Asilidae in America. Expand
Revision of the Genus Cophura Osten Sacken (Diptera: Asilidae)

The latest contribution to the series is by Mr. E. Collin and deals with the family Empididee, which is apparently richly developed in the regions in question, since 198 of the species described were previously unknown. Expand
Taxonomy and evolution of the "Prolepsis-complex" in the Americas (Diptera, Asilidae)
TLDR
Examination of types and dissection of male genitalia showed the close interrelationships among the species of the "Prolepsis-complex", now considered to belong to two genera, namely Prolepsi Walker and Cylicomera Lynch Arribalzaga. Expand
