Ileal atresia and absence of appendix.

Abstract

A case of ileal atresia with absence of vermiform appendix in a female newborn is reported. At the region about 105 cm from the Treitz's arch, intestinal atresia was observed with an associated V-shaped deformity of the mesentery.
