Aerodynamic Sound and Flow Field Generated from Combinational Inclined Tapered Cylinder
This study deals with the aerodynamic sound, especially the Aeolian tone. One of the problems with the aerodynamic sound, noise reduction along a railway line is significant engineering issue for
Mechanism of tonal noise generation from circular cylinder with spiral fin
The pitch of the spiral finned tube influences seriously to the acoustic resonance in the heat exchanger. In this research, the flow characteristics in relating to the aeolian tone from the finned
Aeolian tones generated by a square cylinder with a splitter plate
The generation of aeolian tones by the interaction of a low Reynolds number, low Mach number flow with a rigid square cylinder attached to a rigid thin flat plate is numerically investigated. When
Aeolian Tones Radiated from Flow Over Bluff Bodies
Bluff body is a simple but a central shape for many engineering applications. The geometry shape of the bluff body characterises the behaviour of the flow over the bluff body, where a more complex
