Ifosfamide is an active drug for chemotherapy of metastatic cystosarcoma phyllodes.

Metastases from cystosarcoma phyllodes are rare, and treatment generally is ineffective. Four patients were treated with ifosfamide (alone in three and combined with doxorubicin in one). Two patients had complete remissions that lasted 26 and 61+ months. One other patient had a partial response that lasted 13 months.
