Eleven patients, 40 to 71 years old, had a choroidal vasculopathy that led to hemorrhagic and exudative macular degeneration. The patients had peculiar polypoidal, subretinal, vascular lesions associated with serious and hemorrhagic detachments of the retinal pigment epithelium.
