“The first group initially scored high on the modes of change popularly considered the hallmark of psychoanalytic orientation. By the end of their rotation period resident's faith in these modes declined most significantly. ...The second group showed no preference for the presumptive hallmarks of the analytic orientation even at the beginning of their training.”
