We study the Ξ b (6100) using the methods of QCD sum rules and light-cone sum rules within the framework of heavy quark effective theory. Our results suggest that the Ξ b (6100) can be well interpreted as the P -wave bottom baryon of J P = 3 / 2 − , belonging to the SU (3) flavor ¯3 F representation. It has a partner state of J P = 1 / 2 − , labelled as Ξ b (1 / 2 − ), whose mass and width are predicted to be m Ξ b (1 / 2 − ) = 6 . 08 +0 . 13 − 0 . 11 GeV and Γ Ξ b (1 / 2 − ) = 4 +29 − 4 MeV…

Mass spectra of strange single heavy baryons

Based on the Godfrey-Isgur (GI) quark model, we investigate the mass spectra of strange single heavy baryons systematically. In the calculation of the Hamiltonian matrix elements, the Infinites-imally

Identifying the Ξ b ( 6227 ) and Σ b ( 6097 ) as P-wave bottom baryons of J P = 3 / 2 −

We use the method of QCD sum rules within the framework of heavy quark effective theory to study the mass spectrum of the Σb(6097) ± and Ξb(6227) −, and use the method of light-cone sum rules still

Identifying the Λb(6146)0 and Λb(6152)0 as D-Wave Bottom Baryons

We study the $\Lambda_b(6146)^0$ and $\Lambda_b(6152)^0$ recently observed by LHCb using the method of QCD sum rules within the framework of heavy quark effective theory. Our results suggest that

QCD sum rule calculation for P-wave bottom baryons

We study the P-wave bottom baryons using the method of QCD sum rule and heavy quark effective theory. Our results suggest that Lambda(b) (5912)(0) and Lambda(b) (5920)(0) can be well described by the

P-wave charmed baryons from QCD sum rules

We study the P-wave charmed baryons using the method of QCD sum rule in the framework of heavy quark effective theory. We consider systematically all possible baryon currents with a derivative for

Interpretation of the newly observed Σb(6097)± and Ξb(6227)− states as the P -wave bottom baryons

The strong decays of the $P$-wave $\Sigma_b$, $\Xi_b'$ and $\Omega_b$ baryons are investigated with a constituent quark model in the $j$-$j$ coupling scheme. The results show that the newly observed

Dynamically generated J P =1 /2 - (3 /2 - ) singly charmed and bottom heavy baryons

Approximate heavy-quark spin and flavor symmetry and chiral symmetry play an important role in our understanding of the nonperturbative regime of strong interactions. In this work, utilizing the

b -hadron spectroscopy study based on the similarity of double bottom baryon and bottom meson

(Dated: The dynamical similarity which exists between the λ -mode excited bbq baryons ( q refers to the u , d , and s quarks) and the ¯ bq mesons inspires us to carry out a combined study of their

Role of newly discovered Ξb(6227)− for constructing excited bottom baryon family

Selecting the newly observed $\Xi_b(6227)^-$ by LHCb as a study example, we decode its inner structure by giving the mass spectrum analysis and the investigation of its two-body strong decay

P -wave charmed baryons of the SU(3) flavor 6F

We use QCD sum rules to study mass spectra of P -wave charmed baryons of the SU(3) flavor 6F . We also use light-cone sum rules to study their Sand D-wave decays into ground-state charmed baryons
