OBJECTIVE To identify subgroups or phenotypes of knee osteoarthritis (OA) patients based on similarities of clinically relevant patient characteristics, and to compare clinical outcomes of these phenotypes. METHODS Data from 842 knee OA patients of the Osteoarthritis Initiative were used.
