The feasibility of identifying inter-simple sequence repeat markers associated with seed weight in hexaploid wheat was tested using 113 recombinant inbred lines developed by the single-seed descent method, from a cross between Rye selection111, an Indian genetic stock obtained through the introgression of genes for bold seed size from rye, and Chinese Spring having small seed size.
