Species of the genus Dendrodoris are defined as “radula-less” dorids (Nudibranchia: Doridina: Porostomata: Dendrodorididae). These sea slugs are colorful nudibranchs distributed across the world’s oceans. Because of color variations and anatomical similarities, species discrimination has been disputed in several Dendrodoris species.
