PURPOSE To identify the potential antiangiogenic and antiinflammatory proteins expressed in human amniotic membrane tissue. METHODS Human amniotic epithelial and mesenchymal cells were isolated from human amniotic membranes by sequential trypsin and collagenase digestion.
