A distinct feature of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the tendency of tumor cells to disperse throughout the liver. Nck family adaptor proteins function to couple tyrosine phosphorylation signals to regulate actin cytoskeletal reorganization that leads to cell motility.
