A sensitive and reliable HPLC coupled with diode array detection and MS method was developed and validated for the first time to simultaneously identify and quantify eight characteristic 5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-2-(2-phenylethyl)chromones (THPECs) in Chinese eaglewood.
