Endophytic microbes are potential sources of antibiotics. Some numbers of endophytic bacteria were isolated from plants in Ujung Kulon, Kaliurang, Meru Betiri and Baluran National Park, Bogor Botanical Garden, and Nusakambangan forest, Indonesia. Previous studies have been conducted to examine and obtain endophytic bacteria isolates from the selected plants, which resulted in three selected isolates, namely OOH-1, STG-1, and CMB-2. This research was conducted to determine the molecular identity…

Endophytic Bacteria from Faloak Plant Seed (Sterculia comosa Wallich) as Antibacterial Agent
This research was expected to give information about the potential of antimicrobial ability Faloak plants which can be utilized in the discovery of new antibiotic compounds which in the future are expected to overcome the problem of microorganism resistance to antibiotics.

Isolation and characterization of leu7-surfactin from the endophytic bacterium Bacillus mojavensis RRC 101, a biocontrol agent for Fusarium verticillioides.
Spectra indicated that this bacterium produced Leu(7)-surfactin, which was toxic to F. verticillioides, the first report of this very powerful biosurfactant from this endophytic species.
Antagonistic bioactivity of an endophytic bacterium isolated from Epimedium brevicornu Maxim
This work evaluated the antimicrobial activities of a strain of endophytic bacterium isolated from Epimedium brevicornu Maxim which displayed a wide-spectrum antimicrobial activity against 14 fugal phytopathogens and one bacterial phy topathogen.
Natural products from endophytic microorganisms.
The prospects of finding new drugs that may be effective candidates for treating newly developing diseases in humans, plants, and animals are great and other applications in industry and agriculture may also be discovered among the novel products produced by endophytic microbes.
The role of mycelium production and a MAPK-mediated immune response in the C. elegans-Fusarium model system.
A new model system is described for the study of Fusarium pathogenesis and evolutionarily preserved host responses to this important fungal pathogen, using Caenorhabditis elegans as a model host.
Daptomycin antibiotic production processes in fed-batch fermentation by Streptomyces roseosporus NRRL11379 with precursor effect and medium optimization
The daptomycin production in this study is significantly higher than that in previous studies and can make it more widely used in pharmaceutical industry.
