Abstract : The Iao camera is a totally new camera system that will be replacing the existing visible imager (VisIM) camera. It functions as the science camera, and is capable of collecting uncompensated, as well as adaptive-optics compensated images. Iao offers a number of improvements over the existing system, including higher speed, greater sensitivity, as well as improved flexibility in control of the imaging system.
