In order to produce a new global reference earthquake catalogue based on instrumental data covering the last 100+ years of global earthquakes, we collected, digitized and processed an unprecedented amount of printed early instrumental seismological bulletins with fundamental parametric data for relocating and reassessing the magnitude of earthquakes that occurred in the period between 1904 and 1970.
