The dynamics of linear perturbations in a differen- tially rotating accretion disk with a non-homogeneous vertical structure is investigated. We find that turbulent viscosity results in instability of both pinching oscillations, and bending modes. Not only the low-frequency fundamental modes, but also the high-frequency reflective harmonics appear to be unstable. The question of the limits of applicability of the thin disk model (MTD) is also investigated. Some differences in the dispersion…

Dissipative-acoustic instability in accretion disks at a nonlinear stage
Nonstationary hydrodynamic models of a viscous accretion disk around a central compact object were constructed. Two different numerical methods (TVD and SPH) are used to study the dynamics of
Dynamics of unstable sound waves in a non-equilibrium medium at the nonlinear stage
A new dispersion equation is obtained for a non-equilibrium medium with an exponential relaxation model of a vibrationally excited gas. We have researched the dependencies of the pump source and the
Instability of anomalous viscosity disks around young stellar objects
Abstract An accretion disk with vertical structure around a young stellar object is investigated, considering anomalous magnetic viscosity. It was found that the I-mode was unstable in the outer
The Numerical Simulation of Shallow Water: Estimation of the Roughness Coefficient on the Flood Stage
The results of the numerical simulations of the dynamics of shallow waters for Volga-Akhtuba Floodplain are discussed. The mathematical model is based on the system of Saint-Venant equations.
