MOST MODERN CONCRETE SPECIFICATIONS INCLUDE REQUIREMENTS FOR QUALITY OF THE FINE AGGREGATE PORTION TO INSURE THAT IT DOES NOT DETRACT FROM THE QUALITY OF THE HARDENED CONCRETE.
