Blockade of the KATP-channel by glibenclamide aggravates ischemic injury, and counteracts ischemic preconditioning
TLDR
The results show that glibenclamide treatment aggravates ischemia and under the influence of glibanclamide ischemic preconditioning was no longer effective in reducing infarct size in the isolated perfused rabbit heart.
