An efficient protocol has been developed for inducing multiple shoots from nodal explants of two asclepiads Ceropegia bulbosa Roxb and Ceropegia juncea Roxb, important medicinal plants. The sterilized nodal explants were inoculated in MS medium containing various concentrations (0.5 to 2.5mg/L) of cytokinins (BAP, Kn and TDZ) added separately.
