The rates of solution of aspirin from aloxiprin, an aluminium derivative of acetylsalicyclic acid, in buffer solutions of pH 2–8 were found to be lower than those of aspirin B.P., particularly in the more acid buffers.

In-Vivo Evaluation of Different Types of Commercial Aspirin Tablets
AbstractIn-vivo evaluation of four different types of aspirin tablets namely effervescent, soluble, buffered and aluminium derivative of aspirin was assessed in six healthy subjects. The
Dissolution of aspirin from tablets containing various buffering agents.
TLDR
Carbon dioxide-producing buffering agents gave more rapid dissolution than the readily water-solublebuffering agents (sodium ascorbate and sodium citrate), and both of the preceding classes of buffering agent gave much faster dissolution than water-insoluble bufferingagents such as magnesium and aluminum compounds.

TLDR
Aspirin has become the most widely used of all household remedies for a variety of minor ailments and over the last four decades there has been an increasing interest in its gastric side effects.
Drug absorption from the rectum. 3. Asprin and some aspirin derivatives.
TLDR
The rectal absorption of aspirin, aluminum aspirin, and calcium carbaspirin was studied in dogs and no conclusions can be reached concerning any differences in absorption in the various bases or the commercial aspitin product.
Effect of processing variables on particles obtained by extrusion-spheronization processing.
TLDR
Four extrusion-spheronization processing combinations were used to produce spherical granular materials from a standard base formulation and indicated that plate rotational speed was of great importance in establishing the geometric form of final granules.
Factors influencing the particle size distribution of flaked meat. I. Effect of temperature, aperture size and prebreaking before flaking
Summary Steer chuck and blade were pre-broken by grinding at −3.0°C and −7.0°C, re-tempered to −3.0°C and −7.0°C, respectively, and then flaked through aperture sizes of 6.1 mm, 9.9 mm or 19.0 mm.
A combined rheometer and image analyser for characterization of suspensions and aggregates in a shear field
We describe a novel instrument that allows image analysis to be performed on the contents of a conventional concentric cylinder constant stress rheometer. This technique allows us to investigate the

Comparison of the gastrointestinal absorption of aluminum acetylsalicylate and acetylsalicylic acid in man.
TLDR
In the form used in this study, aluminum acetylsalicylate was incompletely absorbed after oral administration, and dosage forms containing this drug must be carefully evaluated with respect to absorption rate and biological availability.

Urinary H.C.G. excretion from the seventh week of pregnancy onwards in the hyperemesis patients from Aberdeen did not differ significantly from the corresponding value in the Newcastle upon Tyne cases and from the 15th to the 20th week ofregnancy a significant difference between the two groups was not observed.

TLDR
The results indicate that the in vivo absorption rate is proportional to in vitro dissolution rate determined by a method previously described, and it is proposed that the U. S. P. tablet disintegration test be replaced by a dissolution test.

The use of urinary excretion data to evaluate drug absorption was discussed from the theoretical viewpoint and results of studies conducted to determine absorption of aspirin, benzyl penicillin, and
