A novel IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) framework with cloud computing architecture is proposed for use in high-quality multimedia applications. The IMS supports heterogeneous networking with Quality-of-Service (QoS) policy. MapReduce analysis is also used to enhance cloud computing capability. This architecture enables users to access high-quality multimedia applications via Android-based appliances.
