GTP cyclohydrolase I exhibits a positive homotropic cooperative binding to GTP, which raises the possibility of a role for GTP in regulating the enzyme reaction (Hatakeyama, K., Harada, T., Suzuki, S., Watanabe, Y., and Kagamiyama, H.
