Hypertension and hyperkalaemia responding to bendrofluazide.

A 33-year-old man is described with hyperkalaemia, hypertension and acidosis. The blood pressure was 160 to 200 mmHg systolic and 90 to 110 mmHg diastolic and the plasma potassium was between 6.0 and 7.0 mmole per litre.
